Rowan College of South Jersey Career & Technical Education - Introduction: English as a Second Language, Level 1 (ESL 1) / Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7-8 through 8-28-25

Beginner ESL 1 class provides students with none or limited English communications skills with instruction and practice with developing additional vocabulary, basic grammar, reading and speaking skills. This is a 40-hour campus course.

This free course is available through a partnership between the New Jersey Community College Consortium for Workforce and Economic Development, and the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development. Attendees must be employed by a registered New Jersey business. Public and State employees are not eligible for this grant-funded training, but there are other options available.  Participants who complete the entire duration of their classes will receive a professional development certificate of completion.
