Sales Representative

Job Summary
Hometown Media is looking for a motivated and self-driven Sales Representative to join our team on a commission-only basis. You will work closely with our Social Media Manager to identify new business opportunities, and be the contact point with potential clients, negotiating and closing deals for videography and social media management services. This is a hybrid position, thus candidates must be within reasonable commuting distance to Vineland.

Hometown Media is a video and social media marketing agency designed to help businesses grow their online presence, drive engagement, and convert followers into customers. We specialize in content creation, paid ads, strategy, and account management across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn, with a focus on visual imagery and expert editing.

Responsibilities

• Proactively source potential clients (outbound and inbound).
• Pitch our social media services via monthly retainer plan to businesses, entrepreneurs, brands, and facilities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and clients.
• Understand client needs and tailor service offerings accordingly.
• Negotiate pricing and close deals.
• Manage feedback from prospects to improve sales strategies and offerings.
• Communicate in a timely and professional manner with all clients and represent Hometown Media's values.
• Work with CRM software to input client information and update status of sale.

Experience

• Proven experience in sales, preferably in digital marketing or social media.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented.
• Comfortable working independently.
• Familiarity with CRM tools, and ability to work with/learn new technology.

Compensation

• 20% commission on standard packages
• Up to 30% for larger/custom contracts
