Vineland Historical & Antiquarian Society - The Jewish Roots of Vineland: Farming in the Garden State / 5-12-26
Explore the rich history of Vineland’s Jewish community, from its earliest settlers to the generations who helped shape Jewish life in South Jersey. This program will trace the community’s development through synagogue life, immigration, and mutual aid, while examining the shift from early crop farming to the rise of poultry farming.
It will also highlight the later arrival of Holocaust survivors, whose resilience and presence added a powerful new chapter to Vineland’s Jewish story. Presented by Josh Cutler. In Person & on Zoom.
