Vineland Environmental Commission - Invasive Species Plant Removal at Willow Oak Natural Area - Volunteers Needed! / 8-9-25
The Vineland Environmental Commission is looking for volunteers to help with invasive species plant removal at Willow Oak Natural Area on East Landis Avenue just east of Lincoln Avenue. There may also be some litter cleanup or other work as needed.
The event starts at 8 am at the Landis Avenue parking lot and should end by 11 am. Please note that this is a different time than other Second Saturday events. John Peterson will serve as coordinator.All minors must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times. Any forms needing signature must be presented that day at the end of the event.
Please wear appropriate clothing (long pants, long sleeves) and sturdy footwear (be prepared for mud!) as well as work gloves if you have them. Bring a bottle of water for yourself if desired. Wearing bug spray is recommended.
