Rowan College of South Jersey Career & Technical Education - Workshop - Developing Better Listening Skills / 7-23-25

Active Listening involves hearing what others are saying, processing the information, and responding to it to clarify and elicit more information. Active listening is a fundamental business skill, and this course will provide participants with techniques to listen actively and create deeper connections with others. This is a 3-hour virtual class.

This free workshop is available through a partnership between the New Jersey Community College Consortium for Workforce and Economic Development, and the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development. Attendees must be employed by a registered New Jersey business. Public and State employees are not eligible for this grant-funded training, but there are other options available.  Participants who complete the entire duration of their classes will receive a professional development certificate of completion.
