Rowan College of South Jersey Career & Technical Education - Crafting Your Career Narrative: Resume Writing Essentials / 8-14-25

Learn the art of storytelling through your resume, focusing on how to effectively highlight your skills, experiences, and achievements to capture employers' attention. In this workshop, participants will harvest skills and look at how skills translate into career goals and possible job requirements. Prior to the workshop, students will have the opportunity to submit a resume to the instructor for additional feedback. This is a 2-hour virtual class.

This free workshop is available through a partnership between the New Jersey Community College Consortium for Workforce and Economic Development, and the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development. Attendees must be employed by a registered New Jersey business. Public and State employees are not eligible for this grant-funded training, but there are other options available. Participants who complete the entire duration of their classes will receive a professional development certificate of completion.
