CU Maurice River is thankful for the dedication of its CU Ambassadors, who expand its reach in the community, raise awareness of its work, and grow the team of volunteers that powers its mission. You are invited to this year’s CU Ambassador Training. This opportunity will provide you with an overview of the organization's history and take you through its outreach materials, including literature, online tools, and the 2026 outdoor activity calendar.

For those of you interested in leading education activities, you will be introduced to a few hands-on learning exercises that CU Maurice River will be leading this year. As a CU Ambassador, you will make a positive impact by fostering appreciation for the natural world and connecting others to the conservation work accomplished under CU Maurice River's umbrella.

This training will take place indoors. Attendees may wish to bring note-taking supplies.
 
Before the training, enjoy a potluck dinner, giving you a chance to relax and connect with staff and fellow volunteers. Bring a dish to share and take the opportunity to meet other CU Ambassadors in a casual setting before the outreach season begins.
