Citizens United To Protect The Maurice River - 4th Saturday Gull Walk / 8-23-25

If you attended the "What It's Like To Be A  Summer Gull" class August 19,  take your learning into the field with a guided walk led by CU Naturalist Jim Blumenstein, focused on observing summer gulls in their natural habitats. As you explore local coastal areas, you'll look and listen for gull behavior—feeding, calling, nesting, and interacting—while gaining insight into the ecological roles these birds play along the Bayshore.

Dress weather-appropriately and don't forget your binoculars! Bringing drinking water and a snack is encouraged. Use of sunscreen and insect repellent is suggested.
