Join the VHAS Book Club at the museum or via Zoom for a lively discussion! They are reading "With Eager Hands: The Life of Elizabeth Coleman White" by Albertine Senske.
This is the biography of Elizabeth Coleman White (1871-1954), horticulturist, conservationist, and social advocate. Elizabeth was a powerful voice in The American Cranberry Growers' Association. With Frederick V. Coville, she cultivated the modern blueberry.
Her contributions to improving social conditions and agricultural practices in New Jersey were outstanding.
