Waiting for Palms is a series of urban landscape photographs taken by artist Peter Ydeen in Morocco and Egypt, which explores where the quiet traces of tradition intersect with the turbulence of modern expansion.
The images linger on the everyday, set within monumental landscapes and constructed from an accumulation of small, unheroic moments. Together, they form a tapestry of worlds that are immediate and enigmatic, intimate yet always elusive, creating an experience of perpetual interpretation.
All are welcome to attend the free opening reception on Wednesday, June 18 at the Noyes Galleries at Stockton University Kramer Hall in Hammonton. Light refreshments will be provided and live music will be performed by Randy Harry. Learn more about Peter Ydeen on his website. https://peterydeen.com/
