The workplace has always been an arena of change, flux, and even chaos. Technological advances, relentless globalism and connectedness, and shifting demographics have created massive changes in the way people work, live, play, and socialize. Businesses must be able to navigate disruptions. Our ability to adapt and make transitions easier on employees will foster successful and attract/retain talent. Using stories and data from his book, FLEX: A Leader’s Guide to Staying Nimble and Managing Transformative Change in the American Workplace, Rick will focus on training the workforce of the future, accommodating and responding to different generations, attitudes, and expectations, creating a sense of belonging for upcoming generations who think differently about work and transforming companies to meet the new normal. Learning Objectives Participants will learn to: avoid common pitfalls in today's cultural revolution. · communicate with sensitivity and transparency. · address uncomfortable organizational culture issues.
