The U.S. Department of Labor released a new final rule that substantially increases minimum salary thresholds for most exempt employees under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).  The new thresholds are scheduled to take effect on July 1, 2024, an additional increase on January 1, 2025, and then more automatic increases in subsequent years.
