Join Emile DeVito from the New Jersey Conservation Foundation and Karla Rossini from CU Maurice River for a guided walk through the Menantico Preserve. This walk will highlight the history of the land’s protection and the ongoing restoration work aimed at improving habitat and ecosystem health.
Located within the Maurice River watershed, the Menantico Preserve is an important part of a larger effort to protect natural areas in southern New Jersey. This is a great opportunity to hear directly from those involved in the preserve’s conservation and to learn more about how restored lands like this support regional wildlife, water quality, and public access to nature.
Dress appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy walking shoes or boots. Use of sunscreen and insect repellent is recommended. Be sure to bring plenty of water and a snack.
