• Salvation Army Seeks Support for Holiday Turkey Drive

With the holidays just around the corner, The Salvation Army Vineland Corps is reaching out to caring individuals and businesses in the community to share its commitment of supporting families in need. "Our goal is to ensure that no family goes without food during this holiday season, offering them moments of joy and relief during these challenging times," said Majors Brenda and Isael Gonzalez, Corps commanding officers.

To address this pressing need, the Corps is organizing its annual Salvation Army Holiday Turkey Drive to provide nutritious and wholesome meals to local families in need.  In 2022, it served 1,459 food-insecure families --  totaling 5,477 individuals  -- during the holidays.

The Corps hopes to raise $50,000 to purchase and distribute turkeys and other essential food items to complete and distribute holiday meals.  Tax-deductible donations can be mailed to The Salvation Army, PO Box 354, Vineland, NJ 08362-0354.  Contributors should write "Holiday Turkey Drive" on the memo sections of their checks.

"Thank you for your ongoing dedication to our community," the Majors said.  "Together, we can create a holiday season filled with hope and love for local families in need."
