DESCRIPTION:Thanking members of the armed forces for their service\, Wheaton Arts and Cultural Center is offering free Make-Your-Own experiences to veterans and active duty military during the Veterans Day Glassmaking program from 10 am to 4 pm Saturday\, November 9\, 2024.\n\nWith the expert guidance of glass artists\, learn how to shape hot molten glass into a beautiful Air Trap Paperweight using a historic antique mold unique to WheatonArts! Participants will choose a color\, add molten glass to a mold\, and discover the secret of creating these organic shapes.\n\n\n\nCall 856.825.6800\, ext. 152. to ask about appointment space availability. Registration closes at 4 pm Friday\, November 8\, 2024.\n\nParticipants and their families will receive complimentary passes to WheatonArts during the event. Visit the Pottery Studio for demonstrations and kiln tours\, take a self-guided tour of the Museum of American Glass and The Down Jersey Folk Life Center\, take part in family art activities\, listen to live music\, partake in the campus-wide scavenger hunt\, grab a bite to eat\, and more!\n\nVeterans Day Glassmaking is sponsored in part by OceanFirst.
