\n The VRDC (Vineland Regional Dance Company) is proud to announce that Friday February 1\, 2019 they are hosting the national summer program auditions for Burklyn Ballet Theatre \;from 4:00pm- 6:00pm. \; The audition will take the form of a two-hour ballet class.
\n \;
\n Burklyn Ballet Theatre is an intense summer program for pre-professional ballet dancers and is held on the campus of a small college in the mountains of Vermont. \; The program offers all dancers three classes and two or more hours of rehearsals daily. \; All dancers perform in the 600 seat Dibden Center for the Arts each Saturday evening. \; The performances\, which are fully produced and costumed\, offer classical and contemporary ballets as well as new and innovative modern works. \; Dancers can attend 2\, 3\, 4\, or 6 week sessions. \;

\n Burklyn Ballet Theatre offers two programs\, the major program for dancers 12 and older and the Intermediate Program for younger dancers 10 - 12 years old. Both programs\, which have been lauded for the safe and caring environment\, are held on the campus of Johnson Sate College\, in Johnson VT.

\n Dancers do not need to pre register for the auditions but should arrive at the VRDC studio'\;s one half hour prior to the published audition time. \; Further information can be obtained by calling Burklyn Ballet Theatre at 877 BURKLYN (877-287-5596).

\n BURKLYN BALLET THEATRE AUDITION GUIDELINES
\n Dancers should arrive at least one half hour in advance to complete a brief audition application and prepare for a 1 1/2 - 2 hour ballet class (depending on attendance)\, which will include pointe work for female dancers.
\n There is a $30.00 charge for the class\, payable by check (to Burklyn Ballet) or in cash. Photos\, bios and teacher recommendations are not required.
\n In cities where there are not separate auditions for the Intermediate Program\, 9-11 year old dancers should plan to attend the regular audition\, which will be simplified for them. These dancers must be 10 before January 1 and 12 after January 1 to attend the Intermediate Program
