DESCRIPTION:The Vineland Environmental Commission is looking for volunteers to help with the planting of native trees and shrubs at Willow Oak Nature Area on East Landis Avenue on Saturday\, November 8\, 2025. There may also be some litter cleanup or other work as needed.\n\n\n\nThe event starts at 9 am at the Landis Avenue parking lot and should end by noon.  John Pedersen will serve as coordinator.\n\nAll minors must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times. Any forms needing signature must be presented that day at the end of the event.  \n\n\n\nPlease wear appropriate clothing (long pants\, long sleeves) and sturdy footwear (be prepared for mud) as well as work gloves if you have them. Bring a bottle of water for yourself if desired.  Wearing bug spray is recommended.\n\n\n\nPlease RSVP with your preferred method of contact (email or phone) to Diane Amico at damico@vinelandcity.org so they can plan for supplies and gloves and keep you updated on any changes due to weather conditions.\n\n\n\nCheck for future volunteer opportunities on the Environmental Commission calendar near the bottom of the page at http://www.vinelandcity.org/environmental-commission.
