DESCRIPTION:Beginner ESL 1 class provides students with none or limited English communications skills with instruction and practice with developing additional vocabulary\, basic grammar\, reading and speaking skills. This is a 40-hour campus course.\n\n\n\nThis free course is available through a partnership between the New Jersey Community College Consortium for Workforce and Economic Development\, and the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development. Attendees must be employed by a registered New Jersey business. Public and State employees are not eligible for this grant-funded training\, but there are other options available.  Participants who complete the entire duration of their classes will receive a professional development certificate of completion.
