DESCRIPTION:FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: HRA Chapter Announces Upcoming Dinner Meeting Vineland\, New Jersey- August 26\, 2021 - The Human Resource Association of Southern New Jersey will hold its monthly gathering on Thursday September 16\, 2021 at the Greenview Inn\, 4049 Italia Avenue\, Vineland. Networking begins at 5:30 and the dinner meeting begins at 6:15. The The September dinner meeting is sponsored by Ceridian and will feature our speaker Gene Venuto from Priority Management. Topic: Influencing for Maximum Impact: Preparation A key competency of effective leaders is developing the ability to influence those around them. In highly collaborative environments especially those with "flat" leadership structures\, influencing skills will always supersede the use of positional power. When influencing is done well\, it creates true understanding and aligns people towards a beneficial outcome. During Influencing for Maximum Impact: Preparation\, participants learn practical and powerful techniques to positively influence and persuade the people around them. We will also explore dominant influencing approaches outlined by the Influencing Style Instrument (ISI). This helps people make the best choices for an influencing approach based on each person and each influencing situation. Cost of the dinner is $35 for HRASNJ Members and $45 for Non-Members and Guests. \, Reservations must be made\, no later than Tuesday\, 9/14/2021 at 5pm to avoid late fees\, by visiting http://hrasnj.shrm.org. New members are always welcome.
