On Saturday\, November 5\, 2022 from 10am-4pm\, this day-long family friendly festival will begin with a 5k race and 1 mile walk on and around Appel Farm's campus\, and continue with sustainable art-making\, wellness activities\, craft vendors\, live music\, food trucks\, and local wine and beer. Prior to the 5k race\, Jess Brock-Pitts of Enlighten Well will be leading a pre-race warm up. Post race\, runners will receive a custom-made wooden Appel Farm finisher's medal and can join in a cool-down yoga class. Some of the ongoing art activities during the event include: cyanotypes using sunlight to create art with flowers\, a mindfulness activity with watercolor mandalas reusing book pages to create art\, creating a musical instrument out of sustainable materials\, and much more.
