Building on the June program\, Tony will take a deeper dive into the fascinating world of dragonflies and introduce their close relatives\, the damselflies. Learn how to distinguish between these remarkable insects\, explore their life histories and behaviors\, and discover the important roles they play as predators and indicators of healthy wetlands.\n\n \n\nFollowing the presentation\, head outdoors for an insect-focused BioBlitz in the WheatonArts Circle Garden. There will be a search for dragonflies\, damselflies\, and a wide variety of other insects\, putting  identification skills into practice while documenting the incredible biodiversity found in this beautiful garden. \n\n\n\nParticipants may wish to bring note-taking supplies. Wear clothes and shoes comfortable for touring the garden.
