After painting\, gather around a cozy campfire to enjoy hot dogs\, s'mores\, and conversation while taking in the sights and sounds of the river at dusk.\n\n \n\nThis program complements CU Maurice River's Summer Youth Nature Journaling program by encouraging participants to slow down\, observe the natural world\, and develop a deeper connection to the landscapes around them. Art has long inspired people to notice\, appreciate\, and celebrate the beauty of nature\, fostering a sense of stewardship for the places we cherish. The scenic beauty of the Maurice River is one of the river's Outstandingly Remarkable Values\, the qualities that earned its designation as part of the National Wild and Scenic Rivers System.\n\n\n\nWhether you are an experienced artist\, a nature enthusiast\, or simply looking for a memorable evening outdoors\, this program offers a unique opportunity to connect creativity\, community\, and conservation.\n\n\n\nCU Maurice River will provide easels\, stools\, and art supplies for all registrants.
