DESCRIPTION:Join the fight for a cure at the Alzheimer's Association 2024 Walk to End Alzheimer's Saturday\, October 5\, 2024\, at Rowan College of South Jersey\, 3322 College Drive\, Vineland.\n\n\n\nRegistration opens 8:30 am\, followed by a Promise Garden Ceremony at 9:30 am.  The two-mile walk begins 9:45 am\, rain or shine.\n\n\n\nAll funds raised further the care\, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.  All walkers\, including children\,  can register for the walk online in advance of the event at https://act.alz.org/site/TR?sid=23938&type=fr_informational&pg=informational&fr_id=17872\n\n\n\nEvery registered participant who achieves the fundraising minimum of $100 will receive an official Walk To End Alzheimer's tee shirt via USPS.  To receive a shirt in time for Walk day\, participants must raise the tee shirt minimum at least four weeks prior to the event.\n\n\n\nEach registered participant also will receive a Promise Garden flower with the choice of the following colors:\n\n\n\nBlue represents someone living with Alzheimer's or another dementia.\n\nPurple represents those who have lost someone to the disease.\n\nYellow represents someone who is currently supporting or caring for a person living with Alzheimer's\n\nOrange represents someone who supports the cause and the Association's vision of a world without Alzheimer's and all other dementia.
